MED REBUILT GEAROXES
All the gearboxes built at MED are completely stripped to a bare gearbox casing so a full inspection can be carried out. After which the casing along with all relevant parts is dipped into our decarbonising fluid bath to burn off all traces of oil, grease and paint. After this process we finally hot chemically clean the casing ready for the build. During this stage all necessary tolerances are checked with in the baulk rings, bearings, end floats and pre loads to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
