7 PORT FUEL INJECTION

Latest development for our Extreme injection system for the alloy 7 port cylinder head.


We have now spent many hours on the engine dyno developing the new “Dual Bank Injection” for the 7 port head, dyno testing has shown that with the “DBI” system fitted to our original “Extreme” injection system an increase of over 6 BHP and 7FT/LB of torque has been achieved.

The increase has been found by utilising a second bank of fuel injectors mounted on alloy posts outside of the front leading edge of the stub stacks, with the second bank of injectors fitted outside of the throttle body’s we have found that fuel atomisation is greatly increased and enters the engine cooler thus giving the increase in power.


We are now developing this system further by varying the lengths of the mounting posts to optimise the position of the injectors, injector’s sizes and fuelling programming.
