The 2012 motorsport season kick off with a great result for Ashley Lamont in the Trials Drive Motor Club Multi Venue Autotest held at Mondello Race Track, Dublin. A field of 92 cars entered this annual special event and featured top drivers with a selection of multiple Irish & Northern Irish Autotest Champions and an welcome return of an Ex. British Rally Cross Champion Dermot Carnegie in his MK1 Ford Escort. Ashley using his MED powered 1460cc engine won his class and finished 3rd overall.
