Starting life as a 4 speed synchromesh gearbox means that we have a lot of work to do to produce a transmission that is capable of handling racings conditions under a powerful engine. Most of the internal parts are replaced with bespoke transmission parts from our extensive product catalogue, the main gearbox is hand built and meticulously checked along the lengthy process.

Our 4 speed dog engagement gear kit has been a huge success as has seen many race/championship wins both here in the UK and across the world. Matched with our straight cut final drives and superior roller bearing drop gears you can rest assured that your transmission is the best available. New to our range for this year is our heavy duty 300M drive shafts and output shafts for ultimate performance.


Once we have discussed with the customer and decided on final specification we will start the preparation of the gearbox casing. The casing is machined to except our bespoke limited slip differential and straight cut final drive, then the complete gearbox is pre-assembled to check for preloads, backlash and end floats. Once the dimensional data is ascertained corrections are carried out and the build is undertaken. Our roller bearing drop gears are fitted as standard along with a fine array of components from our product range. Our skilled engineers take great care in assembly, each tolerance and torque setting is recorded for any future rebuilds.
