MED HIFF44 SU CARB KIT

The HIF44 SU carb is a favourite for fast road usage, slightly easier to set up than twins yet still capable of fueling 1380cc engines with over 100bhp. 

This versatile kit will suit all 1275-based engines, the brand new carb supplied with matching alloy inlet manifold, all new linkage and a popular MED stub stack kit. There's two extra carb needles as a starting point for tuning.

• Genuine HIFF44 SU
• MED stub stack kit
• Alloy high-flow heated inlet manifold
• All new linkage and throttle clips
• Stainless steel studs
• Spacer block and gaskets
• Supplied with stock BFY needle, red spring, plus BDL and BBC needles.

Please note that a rolling road or dyno tune will be required to perfectly set the fuel mixture, as all engines will have different requirements.

The BDL needle is the standard MG Metro spec, a good starting point for mild engines, BBC is richer, for higher states of tune.
