The MED aluminium timing plate saves on weight and uses 1/4-inch studs instead of the 1/4-inch UNF threaded holes, so there is no fear of the threads stripping.
The plate also reduces the chance of oil leaks compared to a tired old standard version, especially when fitted alonside the MED Cam Timing Cover.
Please note - the timing gears may need to be realigned when the alloy timing plate is fitted, as the width may vary to your standard timing plate.
This will not fit inline engines, only transverse Mini/Metro.
