Lightweight, compact and durable, this unit starts the engine faster with immense power, whilst drawing less current from the battery.

A more efficient reduction gear design enables the starter motor to turn over any high-compression engine with ease, making this suitable for any performance road or competition Mini.

Please note - this model does not fit SPi/MPi Minis; please see the Microstart starter motor for these cars.

We can supply high-torque starter motors to work with inertia or pre-engaged flywheel ring gears. Inertia setups have 107 flywheel teeth and 9 teeth on the starter motor pinion, whereas pre-engaged feature 129 flywheel teeth and 11 on the pinion.
