MED SPLIT WEBER 45 DCOE KIT - COMPLETE

Considered by many as the ultimate carburettor setup for competition Minis, twin split Weber installations were originally used on the Works rally cars of the late '60s. They've been used very successfully over the decades on all manner of fast road and competition engines, giving more power potential than a single Weber or twin SUs, and the ultimate in engine bay kudos!  

The principle behind this setup is to give a straighter, less restrictive inlet path from the carburettor barrels to the inlet ports on a five-port cylinder head. We carefully trim one carburettor to allow the twin 45s to sit side-by-side, modifying both to use only one of the two barrels.  

Testing on full-race engines has shown power gains over a single Weber 45, more pronounced on large-bore 1380s and 1460s. 

Kit contents:

• Modified twin Weber 45DCOE carburettors, one trimmed


• Misab plates and fixings


• Bespoke throttle linkage and billet aluminium levers


• Laser-cut stainless steel throttle cable bracket


• Maniflow custom steel inlet manifolds


• Fuel line link pipe and adapters

The carburettors are jetted to suit your application, although a rolling road or dyno set-up will be required to fully optimise performance. 

We can produce these kits to suit either right or left-hand-drive Minis (for master cylinder clearance, we cut the left or right carb), selectable from the list above. Please note, these kits are made to order with a lead time of two weeks.
