MED MODIFIED 70mm STROKE CRANKSHAFT - SPECIAL

A real find - we have two South African crankshafts that have received the full works.

These have a 70mm stroke, making them ideally suited for a high RPM fast road/trackday/hillclimb Mini. These will produce an engine capacity between 1114cc and 1190cc, approx, depending on the bore size.

Specifications

• Heat treated journals

• Cross-drilled mains and big ends

• Wedged and profile milled to improve counterbalance and reduce weight

• Balanced dynamically to within 1g

Once machined and balanced, we have a ni-temper treatment applied before a specialist polish and quench technique to improve journal durability.  

These are based on original South African crankshafts, so you may find minor imperfections on the surfaces. Please see images two and three of the actual crankshafts, and if you'd like any more info, get in touch.
