Description

The MED MPi Mini flywheel is CNC machined from EN8 steel billet and weighs just 4.18kg, for a noticeable improvement to acceleration. 


The standard Rover flywheel features a separate reluctor ring, which can move and affect the ignition timing. Here the teeth are machined directly into the flywheel, to very close tolerances, to maintain accurate ignition timing.



The Stage 2 kit is ideally suited to high performance road and trackday MPi Minis and comes with the following components;



  • MED Ultra Light EN8 steel flywheel with in-built MPi reluctor ring

  • MED organic competition clutch plate

  • MED heavy-duty clutch cover

  • MED steel clutch centre



For reference, this kit is equivalent to running an orange diaphragm on the early pre-Verto clutch setup.
