Description
Replacement output shafts for both the X-Pin differential and standard types.
It's a good idea to replace these when rebuilding a Mini transmission with all new parts, reducing the chances of oil leaks from the end covers.

Where do these output shafts fit?
These shafts fit inside the classic Mini differential, providing drive to a pair of pot joints, which connect in turn to the driveshafts.
Are these uprated over standard?
No, but machined to a high standard as per the original specification. It's unusual for these to break, as the standard diff pin is the weak spot, but you can find they wear on the shaft where it runs in the output shaft cover bush. In turn, this can leak to oil leaks.
Do they work in all classic Mini differentials?
Yes, standard or aftermarket X-Pin units, for use with pot joints. If you wish to use Hardy Spicer couplings rather than pot joints, please see the Hardy Spicer adapters, part number MED-3900-HS.
