DAVIES CRAIG EWP80 WATER PUMP KIT

Converting to an electric water pump removes the parasitic power losses of a belt-driven mechanical water pump, freeing up more power. This is more pronounced at higher RPM.

An added advantage is the ability to run the pump independently from the engine, so you can keep it running after a race to reduce heat soak in the paddock. 

The Australian-designed EWP80 pump has a lightweight alloy body and incorporates a carbon mechanical face seal for added reliability. 

Tech specs:

• 12-volt DC pump (3-volt to 15-volt operating window)

• 7.5 amp at maximum output

• 80 litres per minute maximum flow rate

• 0.9kg dry weight  

• 35mm outlets (with adapters to suit 32-51mm hoses)

The kit includes the pump, wiring loom, 35mm straight adapter, 35mm 90-degree adapter and various seals and fixings. We also stock various different adapters and silicone joiner hoses for custom installation.  

Speed controllers are available, but for simplicity in race use we tend to run the pumps on a simple on/off switch.
