Description
Due to popular demand, MED re-worked crankshafts are back, for 1275 engines with A-plus (1.750") big ends. These are based on the latest design of Rover Mini crankshaft, modified for high performance road and trackday engines.

- Wedged to improve counterbalance and reduce weight
- Balanced dynamically to within 1g
The crankshafts are CNC-machined to improve counterbalance and also reduce overall weight. More specifically, we've re-profiled the web around the big end journal area, where this has the most effect.
Once machined and balanced, we have a ni-temper treatment applied before a specialist polish and quench technique to improve journal durability.
Modified using decades of A-Series engine experience.
Available separately or as a complete kit with ACL main bearings, big end bearings and thrust washers to suit.
