MED Hardy Spicer competition driveshafts are the ultimate upgrade for any high performance Mini. Manufactured from 300M-grade steel as used in all top motorsport transmissions.
Not to be confused with cheaper EN24T versions on the market.
These are only compatible with Hardy Spicer Couplings - see the MED HD pot joint driveshafts for the later design.
Please note, the final heat treatment process can result in colour variations, so each batch can look slightly different to those pictured.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do 300M steel driveshafts compare to the standard factory items?
They're much stronger - 300M is an ultra-high-strength, low-alloy vacuum-melted steel. It's often used in motorsport driveline components and aeroplane landing gear, where the high strength, toughness and fatigue resistance is essential.
What else do I need to install the driveshafts?
These particular driveshafts have a spline to suit Hardy Spicer couplings on the inside, and CV joints on the outside. So you will need a pair of original Hardy Spicer couplings, or our new upgraded versions (part number MED-3702-HS), plus a pair of 1275 CV joints, part number MED-3904-CV. Do the driveshafts need some weather protection?
A light spray of white lithium grease every-so-often will keep them in good condition if used in all weathers.
Which classic Minis do these driveshafts suit?
These are very popular for all classic Mini competition applications. We've supplied these for stage rallying, Mini Miglia, hillclimb, historic and even drag racing.
Are they supplied with the clips?
Yes we install the wire clips, ready to fit. These help to lock the shafts into the CV joints.
