1275 MAIN BEARING SETS - RACE
Description
Motorsport-grade main bearings that are well suited our range of steel crankshafts.
These are heavier duty than the ACL Duraglide 780 range of bearings, thanks to an extra heat treatment process.
A-plus main bearings have a location tab in the centre of the bearing, which locates in the main bearing cap. They are plain on the bottom side and have an oil groove in the top bearing.
Pre-A-plus bearings have all location tabs offset to one side. They also have an oil groove on both halves of the bearing top and bottom.
Additional Information
We can supply standard size or 0.010" oversize for reground crankshafts. If you require an alternative size, please contact us for availability.
Bearing Finish
The final operation in the manufacture of ACL Race Series engine bearings is electroplating. In this operation, the bearing appearance changes to a dark tarnished colour which can vary from black / brown / blue / copper.
This colouration is restricted to the surface atoms and has no effect on bearing performance.
