A high quality replacement clutch master cylinder, as supplied in the MED heavy-duty clutch arm kits.

We stock both the Verto and pre-Verto style cylinders, which mount at a different angle on the clutch housing, and therefore have the bleed nipple in a different position.

Please note, the appearance may vary slightly depending on supply, but we only ever keep those that match or improve upon the genuine original factory cylinders.

Which car do these fit?

Classic Minis, from 1959-2000. The Verto-style clutch was introduced in the early 1980s, easily identified by the short clutch arm and separate steel mounting bracket on the clutch housing.

How can I tell if my slave cylinder is faulty?

It can give a spongy pedal feel, even after bleeding of the hydraulic system, give limited travel and therefore make it very difficult to disengage the clutch. These symptoms can also be true of the clutch master cylinder, but that typically results in a fluid leak above the pedal box and into the cabin.

Does this offer a performance upgrade?

These are high quality cylinders, well worth the extra over budget replacements. It's not necessarily a go-faster performance upgrade, but offers good reliability.
