The Competition 7.5-inch inline clutch cover is designed to be used with our steel 7.5-inch Steel Flywheel, 7.5-inch Bonded Clutch Plate and roller bearing release kit.

Slight light modification may be required within the bell housing when fitting this clutch cover.

Which cars does this fit?

This clutch cover is designed for 1275cc inline A-Series cars such as MG Midgets and AH Sprites, but must be used alongside the MED 7.5" clutch plate and flywheel. It does not fit the Mini, or standard Midget flywheels.

Can I use the standard carbon release bearing?

No, you must use our special heavy duty roller bearing setup, part number MED-4722-IRB.

Is the cover pre-balanced?

We find the balance is usually within a few grams, but not perfect, so we would advise to have this cover balanced alongside your MED flywheel. Alternatively if you purchase a complete kit, part number MED-4711-INU, these come dynamically balanced within a gram. If you are installing a replacement cover on an existing MED flywheel, contact us and we should be able to re-balance it all as an assembly.
