Description

Our alloy rocker cover has the MED logo CNC engraved into the front face and is machined internally for MED roller rocker clearance. It is also machined for fitment with an 11-stud cylinder head. Of course you can fit this to any nine-stud head too.

The kit includes;

MED alloy rocker cover

MED stainless steel rocker cover fixings

Chrome filler cap (optional MED billet alloy upgrade)

Cork rocker cover gasket

We can also supply a breather-equipped version or a complete MED breather kit.

Please note, there may be some residue polish on your cover, left over from the buffing process. Simply buff clean with a microfibre cloth once in situ.

Use metal polish to maintain the finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this rocker cover fit with roller rockers?

Yes, we mill the inside rear of the rocker cover to allow clearance for MED roller rockers. Other brands should also fit, but we have only tried our own. If the rockers are situated quite far back on the head in relation to the rocker cover, loosely install the fixings and there is some adjustment available on the rubbers, so push back on the cover and nip up the fixings.

Can you supply the cover with no logo, or a custom logo?

No, sorry these are all machined at the same time as the internal modifications, so it's not viable for us to offer customisation.

The shiny finish on my cover is tarnished - do you recommend a specific cleaner?

Most metal polishes will clean up any oxidisation on the aluminium. We use Autosol metal polish on a microfibre cloth and this helps to maintain the finish.

Do you have any tips for installing the gasket?

Clean the gasket surface on the rocker cover with a suitable degreaser, wipe clean and stick the gasket in place with contact adhesive. This will make future rocker adjustment a much easier job.
