Frequently Asked Questions
Will this rocker cover fit with roller rockers?

Yes, there is good clearance for MED roller rockers. Other brands should also fit, but we have only tried our own. If the rockers are situated quite far back on the head in relation to the rocker cover, loosely install the fixings and there is some adjustment available on the rubbers, so push back on the cover and nip up the fixings.
What do the breather hoses attach to?

We suggest the rear breather tube is connected to the Mini clutch transfer using using the adapter MED-5994-TCA. The side breather we would then connect to a catch tank, such as our own under-wing design, part number MED-5912-CT.
Does this breather rocker cover fit all A-Series engines?

We would only recommend these for classic Mini/Metro fitment, as the inline Sprite/Midget A-Series engines would position the breathers towards the rear of the engine bay. These do not usually fit with a supercharger install. Minis with a bulkhead-mounted brake servo should be ok, but the breather hose routing can be more difficult.
Can you supply the cover with extra pipes?

No, sorry these are all machined and welded up at the same time as the internal modifications, so it's not viable for us to offer customisation.
Do you have any tips for installing the gasket?

Clean the gasket surface on the rocker cover with a suitable degreaser, wipe clean and stick the gasket in place with contact adhesive. This will make future rocker adjustment a much easier job.
Is there a torque setting for the top fixings?

We would advise to use a spanner (5/8" AF) and nip-up by feel, as over-tightening the fixings will damage the rubber seals.
