MED A-SERIES ULTIMATE ROAD COMPETITION HEAD

Exclusive to MED, we consider these to be the ultimate five-port head for fast road, trackday and light competition. Our 'Ultimate' specification is now based on a brand new MED 12G940-style casting, so there's no need to send us an old used head in exchange.

The 21cc head chambers are accurately CNC machined to the optimum profile, the extra two head stud holes drilled, inlet and exhaust ports enlarged and the restrictive standard valve guide bosses are non-existent. Hardened unleaded exhaust valve seats are fitted as standard.  

35.7mm x 30mm three-angle valves are manufactured from 21NS stainless steel forgings, plasma nitrided for extra strength and wear characteristics, and installed in our own high quality bronze valve guides. 

Valve caps and collets are brand new MED EN24T steel versions, with MED 170lb double valve springs pre-fitted at the recommended length. 

Each head is finished by hand by our expert machinist, pressure checked to 60psi and fully assembled, ready to fit.

Each casting is embossed with the MED logo and numbered for future traceability.
