1 BAR MAP SENSOR

Description
1 BAR Bosch MAP sensor, ideally suited to the MED Ignition Management kit.
These are to be plumbed into the inlet manifold/carb on naturally aspirated engines to indicate load, which can in turn be used to accurately adjust the ignition timing via the DTA ECU.
Our ignition management kits can use either a MAP sensor or Throttle Position Sensor to perform this task. We would recommend using a TPS on a full-race engine with a Weber DCOE carburettor, and the MAP sensor on more mild setups with SU carb(s).
This features a three-pin junior timer connection. You will need to supply a suitable length of tube to connect to the carb.
